MEET OUR FOUNDER

Chef Channy Laux

Born in Cambodia, Channy came to the United States as a teenage refugee in 1979. She later built a career in engineering before turning her focus to Cambodian food.

Inspired by her mother's cooking and the joy of sharing a meal, she founded Angkor Cambodian Food to make Cambodian ingredients and culinary experiences more accessible.

Carrying a food tradition forward

Our story begins with the recipes and flavors Channy learned alongside her mother. Today, Angkor Food helps bring those traditions into more kitchens.
